Up for sale is The Man in the High Castle subway poster, featuring a Statue of Liberty and a cityscape of New York rendered into the fascist 1960's nightmare.
It was used to promote the release of Man in the High Castle season 1 in the New York City subway area. Once the season ended, these posters were covered up, removed, or destroyed, making them extremely rare.
About Subway Posters:
These promotional posters measure 45 inches by 60 inches (or 3.75 feet by 5 feet) and have a horizontal display like a British quad. Unlike older subways made of paper, these modern versions are vinyl with an adhesive rear attached to a non-stick backing.
Condition:
Between very good plus to near mint. Brand new, unused. Nice, clean vinyl with a bright, glossy sheen, though with a tiny bit of rippling and a little edge wear.
Care Instructions:
Allowing these subway posters to get too hot might melt the adhesive surface, causing the adhesive to leak. Probably best not to store or display in places without temperature control (like the garage), especially in summer conditions. Do not remove the non-stick backing as it will ruin the poster.
